is a psychiatrist and psychotherapist at the Terzocentro di Psicoterapia Cognitiva in Rome.
Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Rome in 1995, where she subsequently specialized in Psychiatry, she attended the Specialization School of Cognitive Psychotherapy Rome (APC) and the Specialization Course in Psychopharmacology, obtaining the specialization in Cognitive Psychotherapy and in Psychopharmacology.
She is registered with the Medical Association and the list of Psychotherapists and a teacher of the Italian Society of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapy (SITCC), of the Association of Cognitive Psychology (APC) and of the School of Cognitive Psychotherapy (SPC). She is former vice president of the Society for Research in Psychotherapy (SPC).
She worked as a psychiatrist and psychotherapist at the “Villa Maria Pia” Neuropsychiatric Clinic in Rome and in the “Le Palme” and “Gli Oleandri” Therapeutic and Rehabilitative Communities, where she also carried out clinical supervision activities. Member of the Italian Association for the Study of Personality Disorders (AISDP), she has participated in the publication of scientific texts and articles regarding the treatment of Personality Disorders.
She was trained in the first Italian Intensive Training with Marsha Linehan and Kathryn E. Korslund and is a founding member and Vice-President of the Italian Society of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (SIDBT), where she also acts as a teacher and supervisor. She is responsible for disseminating the model through intense clinical and training activity in public and private structures and at psychotherapy schools. Furthermore, she is responsible for the DBT team of the Terzocentro di Psicoterapia in Rome, dealing with the treatment of adults and adolescents.
